| CDI (Centre Direct Injection) Engine
The E-CDIS engines offer a rare combination of more power, durability and better fuel efficiency, so you’ll be able to get the job done quicker and more efficiently. These engines also boast lower noise levels, which equates to less stress and fatigue after long work days. Finally, all M-series engines comply with StageIIIA emission standards, so you can rest assured you’re running a cleaner engine.
F15/R15 Transmission (M6040/M7040)
Synchronised five speeds of the main shift and three speeds of the range shift (including creep speed) supply tractors with 15 Forward and 15 Reverse speeds.
F18/R18 and F36/R36 Transmissions
(M8540 and M9540)
Synchronised six speeds on the main shift and three speeds of the range shift supply both ROPS and cabin models with 18 Forward and 18 Reverse speeds (including creep speed). Hi-Lo 2-speed doubles the number of speeds to 36 Forward and 36 Reverse on our Cabin models. This feature is useful for taking on large load increases and when working in changing soil conditions.
Hydraulic Shuttle
Shifting between forward and reverse is seamless and smooth with our new and improved M-Series Hydraulic Shuttle. A column-mounted lever with left-hand operation makes shifting easy. And when attaching implements, our improved inching feature is easy to perform, giving you the same feel as a half-clutch operation.
Newly Designed Ultra Grand Cab
The cab of our M-Series tractors has been completely redesigned. Rounded glass on the cab gives the operator more room and greater visibility. The height of the cab offers more headroom, and most of the levers and switches have been moved to the right side console for easier access. Finally, an air conditioner with an optimised air flow is standard-equipped on all of our M-Series cabin models.
Braking System
M-Series tractors are equipped with a 4-wheel hydraulic braking system that requires minimal pedal force and automatically shifts to 4WD when braking. The M8540 and M9540 are also equipped with a transmission parking lock.
Independent PTO
The Hydraulic Independent PTO helps you increase productivity. The PTO can be engaged and disengaged by simply pressing a button.
Hydraulics
We’ve increased the hydraulic pump capacity to 61.0 ƒÜ/min (M6040/M7040) and 64.3 ƒÜ/min (M8540/M9540) to allow the use of larger and more diverse range of implements. With an increased lifting capacity, now 2,300 kg (M6040/M7040) and 4,100 kg (M8540/M9540), heavy-duty implements are not a problem.
Limited Slip Differential
The standard Limited Slip Differential helps you maintain a stable travel speed should the drive wheel on either side of the tractor slip. In this case, the differential automatically transfers power to the opposite wheel, enabling stable, worry-free operation during ploughing and other tasks that require reliable traction. Plus, a differential lock is standard-equipped on the rear wheels.
Hydraulic 4WD Engagement
Stay productive by switching the 4-wheel drive on and off without stopping, even when moving out of a field onto a road. One simple switch does it all.
